Alumnae Relations

Once a Gamma, ALWAYS a Gamma. Sigma Lambda Gamma is a life-long sisterhood. We really believe that once a sister always a sister. An alumna sister maintains a relationship with her fellow alumnae, her undergraduate sisters, the National Sorority governance structure, and her community. Some sisters maintain strong sisterhood involvement after graduation; others focus on education, family development, or advancement of career goals. Other women are just beginning their journey with Sigma Lambda Gamma as Graduate Members and Honorary Alumnae. An alumna has the option to attend National Convention, National Sisterhood Retreat, join an Alumnae Association, run for a position as District Governor, run for a position on the National Board of Directors, serve a National Committee, or serve as a Chapter Advisor. Our chapter maintains a great relationship with our alumnae. They frequently join us throughout the year in events we put out on campus. Every semester we plan a weekend for our alumnae to come back and bond with our undergrads. We would like to thank our alumnae for their continued support throughout the years.
